It is said that a woman can never have too many shoes, and most of us would agree! Check out some of these great bridal styles courtesy of Amici Events.

Our closets are filled with footwear of all kinds, from sexy stilettos and cute ballet flats to cozy winter boots and comfortable old running shoes.

Classic white, square toe pumps always look elegant.

We never seem to find it very hard to find a gorgeous new pair of shoes… until it comes to looking for shoes for our wedding day. Then it gets a little more difficult!

These Christian Louboutins would make lovely bride or bridesmaids shoes.

Wedding shoes not only have to fit and make our feet look gorgeous, but they have to go with the dress, be comfortable enough to wear all day and be in theme with the wedding location and season. Nowadays most brides are also looking for shoes they can wear again. So how to choose? Here are a few of the hottest trends around. For more amazing wedding inspiration please visit Amici Events.

Vintage 1950s Wedding Shoes

Tuesday, April 19th, 2011

Special thanks to Charlie and Selma of Fifties Wedding for bringing us these great photos of vintage shoes. 1950s era shoes have a unique style all their own. High heals were popular with rounded or peep toes, as well as ballet slipper style shoes during that decade. I think you will agree that after seeing some of these great styles dreaming of being a 1950s bride can become a reality.

What To Wear To A Spring Wedding

Thursday, March 24th, 2011

Spring time is around the corner which means, wedding season is near! If you’re looking for the perfect look for a spring wedding, listen up.

Spring weddings should be colorful and bright so stick with colors that will bring out the life in you. Yellows, pinks and bright blues are perfect for an outdoor wedding. Most wedding guests choose short dresses with fun heels for spring looks but longer dresses with flats can work too! This look puts together a strapless textured yellow dress with a flower waist accent with mauve peep toed heels for a feminine and classic look. Spruce up the neckline with a chunky gold necklace and add more texture to the look with a lace patterned clutch and a large black and gold ring.

Although this look is great for weddings, we actually found this dress as part of David’s Bridal prom dresses collection! So, feel free to put together a similar look for all your other spring special occasions such as proms, graduation parties, birthdays and more!

I love those mauve peep toed heels!
