One fantastic idea for engagement sessions that are fun and intimate are picnic sessions.
It doesn’t have to be fancy, you could just grab some drinks, a few snacks and a shady tree.
It allows you to relax, be natural and open up to the camera at your own pace.
Find a field, a spot next to the beach or a river and have fun!
Thank you Studio Sequoia for sharing this truly cute and inspirational picnic engagement session.

The spring collection of various runways all around the world has definitely spiced up the traditional styles we’ve seen over the past couple of seasons. Gone are the conservative cuts and lines that have been in vogue for so long and were essentially replaced by dangerously low backs and high necklines – sort of a reverse style if you will. For the colors, soft blues and pinks has been all the rage these past months.
Bare Back Wedding Dresses
If you’re planning on incorporating this style to your wedding dress then you might just have to chuck out your brassiere for your big day. A lot of designers this season took a lot of liberties in creating dresses with the most open and cutout backs that we’ve seen in just one season.
To make sure you’re ready to don this gown, exfoliate your back and tone your muscles there with a little exercise a few months before the event.
Sheer, Long Sleeves
Another style that has particularly been in abundance on many designers’ collection today is the wrist-length sleeves made of lace or other similar material like tulle and chiffon. This trend has lent a certain kind of elegance that borders on the modest, demure side.
Off the Shoulder
This particular style successfully imbues confidence without being too overtly sexy. No matter what your size or shape is, this staple is a great complement for any body type. You can either pair this style with a modest neckline or a plunging one that can reveal more skin depending on your personal preference.
From bare back wedding dresses to off shoulder styles and sheer, long sleeves – there’s surely a design that will fit your personal fashion flair.

Spring time is around the corner which means, wedding season is near! If you’re looking for the perfect look for a spring wedding, listen up.
Spring weddings should be colorful and bright so stick with colors that will bring out the life in you. Yellows, pinks and bright blues are perfect for an outdoor wedding. Most wedding guests choose short dresses with fun heels for spring looks but longer dresses with flats can work too! This look puts together a strapless textured yellow dress with a flower waist accent with mauve peep toed heels for a feminine and classic look. Spruce up the neckline with a chunky gold necklace and add more texture to the look with a lace patterned clutch and a large black and gold ring.
Although this look is great for weddings, we actually found this dress as part of David’s Bridal prom dresses collection! So, feel free to put together a similar look for all your other spring special occasions such as proms, graduation parties, birthdays and more!
Love those mauve peep toed heels!
