Great Gatsby Wedding Inspiration

August 30th, 2013

The Twenties are back with a bang thanks to Baz Luhrmann’s Great Gatsby adaptation hitting the silver screen.

From the show-stopping costumes to the grand party venues, take inspiration from this decadent decade to create a truly memorable wedding.

If you are attending a Twenties themed wedding, you are in for a treat. It’s the perfect excuse to glam it up – think feathers, furs and fringing.

Anything goes in the roaring Twenties, so go for all out opulent! Lavish long gowns dripping with sequins were the party uniform of the Jazz-age – you can get Carey Mulligan’s Great Gatsby look with the Collection 8 Arielle Sequin Dress paired with a luxurious fur stole such as this fluffy Madeline Shrug. Don’t be afraid to go over the top on accessories – add this Art Deco inspired Droplet Necklace and the Tia Filigree Sandals to complete your look.
